Blazon

A horse forcene gorged of a coronet of maple leaves and pearls, attached thereto a chain reflexed over the back and standing on a representation of the Western Hemisphere Argent, all surmounting a lightning flash palewise Or, the horse’s head surmounting a scroll Azure edged, inscribed RCEME and GEMRC Or and ensigned by the Royal Crown proper;

Symbolism

The lightning flash symbolizes electrical engineering and the horse, mechanical engineering. The coronet of maple leaves refers to the Corps’ service to the Canadian Armed Forces, while the attached chain alludes to the harnessing of power. The globe showing the western hemisphere is in reference to the branch’s mission in Canada and beyond. The Royal Crown indicates the Corps’ royal designation, while the scroll contains the acronym for its name in both official languages.
