The Canadian Heraldic Authority does not have confirmed symbolism for this emblem. The following comments are hypotheses only. The ship possibly refers to the name Hull, the term for the body of a ship. Green and gold are the colours of Saskatchewan, Mr. Hull’s province of residence.
