Symbolism

Blue and yellow are the colours of the arms of the City of Toronto, under the jurisdiction of which the corporation operates. The blue chevron represents the community residents’ homes that are managed by the corporation.

The shield of the Arms within an annulus Azure edged and inscribed with the Motto in letters Argent, environed by a wreath of maple leaves Or issuant from a trillium flower and ensigned by the Royal Crown proper;

Symbolism

The format follows that of other municipal-level law enforcement agency badges. The Royal Crown signifies that the service upholds the peace under the Crown of Canada. The trillium flower shows that the corporation is located in Ontario.
