Gules on a Canadian pale Argent a maple leaf charged with an annulus Gules edged, inscribed THE CAMERON HIGHLANDERS OF OTTAWA and (DUKE OF EDINBURGH’S OWN) in letters Or, and ensigned by the Royal Crown proper;

Symbolism

As an infantry regiment, The Cameron Highlanders of Ottawa (Duke of Edinburgh’s Own) uses as its Queen’s Colour the National Flag of Canada with the addition of an annulus bearing its designation and ensigned by the Royal Crown.
