Blazon

Argent a compass rose, each point parted Argent and Sable, charged with a maple leaf Gules;

Symbolism

The compass rose comes from the badge of the Intelligence Branch, and the maple leaf is a symbol of Canada. Both elements were used in the cap badge of the Corps of Guides, an earlier intelligence unit in the Canadian Army.
