Since 1987, Teresita Buena has been helping new immigrants, students and seniors file their tax returns through the Community Volunteer Income Tax Program. She has also volunteered with local citizenship ceremonies, her church, and with the Silayan Volunteer Group of Mississauga and the Square One Older Adult Centre.
