Charles Camilleri is an advocate for the rights of people with disabilities in his community. In 2005, he co-founded the free social drop-in program Hangin’ Out Together, where he organizes and plans outings, social and recreational activities, and annual fundraisers. He also teaches chess at the library twice a week and runs an indoor bocce program for seniors.
