Governor General's Caring Canadian Award
Kenneth Margeson, active in the Scout movement for three-quarters of a century, has helped to make his community a better place. His contributions have been innumerable, as a Mason, an active member of his church and organizer and chair of the Beaver Bank/Kinsac Canada Day Fun Day. He has also organized various other community initiatives, many of them youth-related. Mr. Margeson continues to heed Lord Baden-Powell's exhortation to do a good turn daily.
