Richard Lemieux's volunteer efforts with the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 593 have made the organization a better place. As sergeant-at-arms, he led the Remembrance Day parade, and as veterans services officer, he has organized veterans' activities and has helped assist veterans with a variety of claims through Veterans Affairs Canada.
