Since 2004, Roderick MacLeod has been an instrumental volunteer with the RCMP Community Pipes and Drums Band, where he helps manage the dress, drill and deportment of band members. He has also improved the Pipe and Drum Band Program on a national scale by creating the RCMP Drum Major’s Course, which teaches group leaders how to supervise civilian volunteers in bands across Canada.
