Alongside her other volunteer work, Sheila Carson has been involved with the Government House Historical Society for the past 25 years, where she has expanded public engagement and education. Apart from serving as president for over a decade, she oversaw the publication of the newsletter, was instrumental in the opening of the gift shop and continues to help coordinate the Victorian tea room.
