Dora Lanteigne joined the Centre de Bénévolat de la Péninsule Acadienne and is involved in numerous aspects of community life, contributing to the development of pre school aged children and providing support to women with breast cancer. She also coordinates a team of 250 volunteers for the Festival acadien and the 2016 Jeux de l'Acadie.
