For over 30 years, Richard Halliday has helped improve the lives of veterans through such organizations as the Royal Canadian Naval Association, the Atlantic Chief and Petty Officers Association, and the Armed Forces Pensioners Association. His contributions have been instrumental to the success of many events and ceremonies, and have improved access to social services and benefits for Canada's veterans.
