Barbara Ivany has been a positive role model with the Etobicoke Special Olympics for over 25 years, coaching both the Etobicoke and Grand Ravine baseball teams, as well as the Etobicoke Sharks Swim Team. With a focus on sport development, she teaches proper form and technique, which has helped several athletes go on to be successful in their respective events, and has created an environment that promotes friendship and self-growth.
