Len Quiring has volunteered countless hours to improve the facilities and programs offered to persons with mental disabilities through his work with the Battlefords Sheltered Workshop and the provincial Association of Rehabilitation Centres. Over the years, he has played an active role in his church, service clubs, with the United Appeal, the Scout movement, Meals-on-Wheels and the Cancer Society.
