Governor General's Caring Canadian Award
Edie Tisch has been an active volunteer with the Canadian Cancer Society for more than twenty-five years and with the Royal Ontario Museum for more than twenty. Many other organizations, including the Council for a Tobacco-Free Toronto, the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Girl Guides of Canada, the Interagency for Smoking and Health and Healthpartners have also benefited from her long-term commitment to her community.
