Governor General's Caring Canadian Award
Elizabeth La Forme volunteered with the Girl Guide movement as a Pathfinder leader for almost twenty years. She was helpful to other Girl Guide leaders, devoted to the guides and she inspired a conviction in others, by word and deed, of the importance of volunteering. Mrs. La Forme has also coached school basketball, taught Sunday school and been a member of several church committees as well as an active participant in fundraising activities for local hospitals.
