An active volunteer worker and organizer, Jim Hogan has been an inspiration to many Islanders. He has long been involved in almost every aspect of amateur sport and participated in preparations for the 1991 Canada Summer Games. He served as Chairman of the PEI Sports Hall of Fame and, in addition to promoting sporting activities, has worked tirelessly for a multitude of charitable organizations involved in the areas of health, social service and welfare, and veterans affairs. He has raised funds for many associations and projects assisting people in need.
