Governor General's Caring Canadian Award
For the past decade, Léatrice Beaudoin has dedicated herself to organizing, training and maintaining a local youth church choir. She plans and directs one or two stage performances a year to showcase the talents of young people and has been an active volunteer in overseeing arrangements for special church celebrations. Mrs. Beaudoin also began a youth Survivors Group, which provides various social activities for youth while teaching them leadership skills, teamwork, confidence building and social development.
