Governor General's Caring Canadian Award
Since arriving in Fort McMurray in 1970, Adina Hudkins has been active in her commmunity and her church. Always available to listen and provide support, counsel or assistance to people in need, she has served as a member of a school team that helps students deal with grief, counselled student groups on drug and alcohol abuse, and has been an active long-term helpline volunteer for the organization, Some Other Solutions Society for Crisis Prevention.
