Governor General's Caring Canadian Award
After many years, Hilda Chynoweth is still a busy craftsperson and volunteer. She gives freely of her time, talent and energy to the Norland Area Seniors Club, the Coboconk New Horizons Club, the Coboconk Little Jailhouse craft shop and the Kinmount Fall Fair. She has taught leathercraft to people of all ages for many years, and the sale of her original leather items and those of her students help raise funds for the local seniors' club.
