Governor General's Caring Canadian Award
Bertrand Beaulieu has given generously of himself to various civic, social, religious and sporting causes over the past twenty years. He was involved in the Rock Guertin Baskets of Hope program and has worked with Caritas-Sherbrooke, the Rivière-du-Loup youth music program and the Estrie Science Fair. He has volunteered with the Young Catholic Workers and the Sacred Heart League, was responsible for organizing the marriage preparation course, and served as a group leader at the diocesan synod. He has also been in charge of protocol for a number of sports championships.
