Governor General's Caring Canadian Award
For more than fifty years, Rolland Beaudet, a Knight of Columbus, has participated in numerous fundraisers and helped distribute Christmas baskets each year. He is involved in Maison Revivre for homeless persons, the Saint Vincent de Paul Society and various youth movements. He visits patients who are sick and dying and does volunteer work at the Saint Augustin drop-in centre. Mr. Beaudet is a life member of the Vanier Foundation, a member of the Canadian Legion, a twenty-year member of the Saint John Ambulance Society, and a Red Cross volunteer.
