Ernest and Yvette Bernier, of St-Ours, Quebec, waste no time in getting involved in their community. Mr. Bernier lends his time to the Club Optimiste de St-Ours, his church, the Knights of Columbus, and the delivery of Christmas hampers. For her part, Mrs. Bernier volunteers with a number of organizations, including the Association feminine d'éducation et d'action sociale, Mouvement Couples et Familles, the Centre d'accès Communautaire Internet and Le Chef-Lieu, a local news bulletin for community organizations. Whether they are working together or on separate projects, the Berniers embody dedication, generosity and a profound desire to reach out to those in need.
