Martineau Bouchard

For over 40 years, Martineau Bouchard has volunteered with several organizations in his region. He was a patroller on the slopes at the Station de ski Gallix, an instructor at the Sept-Îles judo club and a supervisor at the Jeux du Québec. In 2001, when the Knights of Columbus council in Sept-Îles was dissolved, he established his own foundation, the Fondation Martineau Bouchard. In its first year, the foundation donated over $30 000 to various organizations in Sept-Îles, and has since raised and redistributed over $100 000 throughout the community.
