William (Bill) Boland

Bill Boland has served on the national board of Skate Canada for 33 years, starting as a club volunteer before becoming club president and a synchronized skating judge. He has been responsible for various portfolios, including planning and marketing. He played an integral role in bringing the 2013 ISU World Figure Skating Championships to London, and has served as the chair of the local organizing committee for this event. Thanks to his dedication, he has helped demonstrate how a smaller city can stage a world-class sporting event.
