Lee Kennedy is known for her selflessness and her civic engagement. She gives her time as the force behind many of the programs that create a sense of community at Percy Pegler School: as a hot lunch coordinator, planning the winter carnival, organizing the Scholastic book orders and participating on the school council. She is also active in the wider community, with Canadian Parents for French, with the Alberta Dance Academy and, most recently, helping those affected by the 2013 floods.
