Governor General's Caring Canadian Award
Since his retirement from the RCMP in 1978, Tony Brezinski has been active in many community groups. He has assisted the Lions Club's Sight and Service program, raised funds for a new CNIB building, and, over the past five years, has coached a blind golfer at national and international tournaments. He is also responsible for the RCMP Veterans' Association's committee that provides breakfast for Regina's people in need. In addition, Mr. Brezinski regularly entertains senior citizens as a member of the Milestone Old Timers Orchestra.
