Jeanne Leblanc has preserved the cultural character of a small francophone village in northern Saskatchewan and ultimately has helped develop the vitality and identity of the francophone community in this province. She has also participated in various national symposia on this subject. In addition, Mrs. Leblanc volunteers with local youth and seniors, serving as a monitor for exchange trips and as the founding chairperson, since 1988, of the Groupe des Loisirs du Manoir Notre Dame de Zenon Park.
