Louis Rabinovitch was a volunteer for sixty years. He volunteered for many social welfare causes in Montreal, served as a link with individuals who are shut-in as well as assisted at a number of hospitals in the Montreal area. At the age of 72, he became an active volunteer at the Jewish General Hospital and served on a daily basis for seventeen years.
