Ivan and Vivian Hicks are music ambassadors, dedicated to old-time fiddling. They have played at benefit concerts across the country and have provided hundreds of hours of entertainment at nursing homes, seniors residences, the Georges Dumont Hospital for veterans and other institutions across the province. They have performed at the annual Super Fiddle Show at a local high school in support of "Safe Grad Night" for the last eight years. Ivan, who has fifty years of fiddle-playing to his credit, also performs at the Christmas Daddies telethon every year and promotes the heritage of the fiddle to young and old through workshops and fiddle classes.
