Governor General's Caring Canadian Award
Voluntarism has been a way of life for George and Marion Christie for more than sixty years. They have always been active in their church in various executive capacities and have contributed to the community through their involvement in other organizations. Mr. and Mrs. Christie have been vital members of the Bedford Leisure Club for seniors since its beginning and they continue to volunteer their time and effort to serve the needs of their church and community.
