Since founding the Ucluelet and Area Historical Society in 1988, Mary Kimoto has been documenting and sharing the history of Ucluelet, with a strong focus on recognizing the experiences of the Japanese-Canadian community. She also organizes the Society’s annual Spring Plant Sale and fundraising raffles.
