For 25 years, Joan Brown helped improve the standard of care for hospital and cancer patients in British Columbia. Through the Langley Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, she helped raise funds for new equipment and programming; she also offered patients a chance to combat loneliness and discuss their experiences through Cancer Connections.
