For more than two decades, Patricia Gasston has been serving as a church warden and as the lead organizer of the annual fair at St. Mary Magdalene Church. In 2003, she helped found the Mayne Island Assisted Living Society, for which she subsequently established a weekly Meals on Wheels service, and continues to organize events and fundraisers.
