Since 2011, Yves Bouchard has proven to be a leader within the National Association of Federal Retirees–Quebec chapter, serving on its board of directors, organizing social and cultural activities, managing the chapter’s website and recruiting new members. He has also volunteered as a minor hockey team manager for several years.
