Since 2002, Noordin Karmali has been a leader of the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award program at both the divisional and national levels. He initiated a reorganization of the BC and Yukon Division board, resulting in a higher level of engagement, and helped expand the program to reach at-risk youth in the region. He is also active within the Ismaili community of Vancouver.
