Greatly admired for her pioneering career in social work and human resources, this Plains Cree Elder has dedicated her life to the advancement of the Aboriginal peoples of Saskatchewan. Especially devoted to the cause of Native and Métis women and to people with disabilities, she has advocated on their behalf for social justice and employment equity. An Indian spiritual leader who is strongly committed to the Anglican Church, she is a bridge between cultures and an inspiration to both communities. Her warmth, generosity and enormous compassion have earned her the highest respect across the province.
