A nurse in the Sisters of Charity of Ottawa, she has dedicated herself for almost 50 years to Ottawa region patients, specifically those who are alcoholics. She has contributed greatly to raising public awareness of these patients and improving the services they receive. She has founded two alcohol rehabilitation centres.
