She is a tireless advocate for historical conservation in Prince Edward Island. For the past 35 years, she has raised awareness of the importance of preservation of the natural and built heritage in her province. In her various roles, notably as Executive Director for the Prince Edward Island Heritage Foundation, she has used her expertise to promote the historical integrity of Charlottetown. She currently volunteers in support of the Confederation Centre Art Gallery to ensure that future generations will be able to appreciate and enjoy the rich diversity of the Island.
