An accomplished architect by profession, he is a prominent volunteer in the Greater Montréal community. He has served on numerous boards and committees at McGill University, created scholarship funds and helped to promote Asian studies. A leader in the local Chinese community, he has fostered inter-cultural relations and increased the visibility of the contribution of the Asian community. An active member of the board of directors of the Montréal Chinese School, he has greatly contributed to the preservation of Chinese heritage.
