Director General of the Council for Canadian Unity, he has toiled for over a quarter of a century to promote a better understanding of the great diversity which characterizes our country. He is unquestionably the main pillar of this national organization, which is dedicated to bringing Canadians from all provinces into more frequent contact with one another. At the same time, he lends his support to organizations such as the Clinical Research Institute in Montreal and the École nationale du cirque.
