This doctor and educator has forged the link between strong economic development and recovery and a flourishing educational system. As a member of the Royal Commission on Employment and Unemployment, and later, as President and Chief Executive Officer of Newfoundland's largest applied arts and technology institution, Cabot College, she has become the catalyst for change. Thanks to her success in improving access to post-secondary training, Canadian youth are better equipped to compete in the workplace of the future.
