An acclaimed researcher, he was the first Professor and Head of the University of Saskatchewan's Department of Pediatrics and established the teaching curriculum for students and residents. Since it was created in 1955, his busy clinic has treated many children with a variety of illnesses and his care, compassion and warmth calmed the nerves of fretful parents for more than forty years. The mention of his name always brings a smile to the many Saskatchewan residents he has treated over the years.
