As Chairman of the Physician Resource Advisory Group, he has assisted the provincial health department and medical association to formulate recommendations to encourage physicians to establish practices in rural areas. By serving non-profit organizations, particularly the Canadian Cancer Society, he has helped to reduce the shortfall in service delivery and has provided invaluable leadership at the provincial and national levels.
