One of Canada's pre-eminent geologists, he is currently the Senior Research Scientist with the Geological Survey of Canada. His explorations and publications have contributed to our knowledge of the stratigraphy and structure of the Arctic Islands and the physical and biological state of our earth during the Triassic period.
