An executive in the oil and gas industry, he has represented Canada with distinction in international markets and export negotiations and been a leading figure in energy issues here at home. He has been equally involved in community endeavours, particularly as chairman of the Cerebral Palsy Association's "Light Up A Child's Life" campaigns in Calgary.
