His generosity has been felt throughout the Barrie area in the arts, culture and in education as he keeps giving back to the community which helped make him a success. A leading member of the Profit Sharing Council of Canada and the Canadian Tire Child Protection Foundation, he was also instrumental in the development of the Canadian Automotive Institute at Georgian College.
