The Montreal-based foundation she established with her husband, on behalf of their son, has become one of Canada's leading foundations offering research grants for the study of schizophrenia and other mental disorders. An octogenarian, she continues, unabated, to play an important role in the distribution of the foundation's funds that are also directed towards supporting environmental, cultural and charitable endeavours.
