Dedicated to community involvement, he has played a major role in the organization of numerous fundraising, cultural and recreational events. He has been particularly active in helping newly arrived immigrants adjust to life in Canada. Recognized as Stephenville's "unofficial ambassador to tourists", he continues to act as a worthy spokesperson for the promotion of his city's many cultural amenities.
